A plus-size dress designed by an aspiring teen fashion designer was one of the free dresses available, thanks to a partnership with FABRIC fashion incubator and the Arizona Apparel Foundation. Through multimedia video production, students at SPOT 127 showcase the story.

The students and staff at SPOT 127 got a real treat when Maricopa Community Colleges Chancellor Maria Harper-Marinick and Rio Salado President Chris Bustamante stopped by for a visit. The two answered questions about success, college and education. Afterwards, both the chancellor and the president viewed some of the students' work and shared their admiration for the students' successes thus far.
