At this year's Arizona State Fair, four SPOT 127 East students took home ribbon awards from the Photography Exhibition! The following were the awardees:

• Andrea Perez, "The Bass" - 12th Grade Advertising/Marketing - First Place
• Nya Villaverde, "Power Off" - 12th Grade Photo Story - Second Place
• Barabara James, "Cat Portrait" - 10th Grade Studio Portraiture - Third Place
• Leah Gunter, "Bass" - 11th Grade Advertising/Marketing - Third Place

All four students shot their winning photos at SPOT East during the Spring 2019 and Summer 2019 semesters for the photo portfolio project. They won among hundreds of other high school student submissions in the exhibit.
